About Dom

I specialise in cutting, creative colouring, and styling hair with care and attention. I'm passionate about working with my customers, understanding their needs, and keeping my skills fresh as trends change. For me, hairdressing is as much about listening as it is about technique.

I'm sociable, easy to talk to, and always open to new ideas – which I think helps make every appointment feel personal.

I've been doing this for over eighteen years now. I trained in Vidal Sassoon cutting techniques and completed a Wella Clipper course, and I'm always looking for new courses to keep my skills sharp. I spent several years working in Australia – which was an incredible experience – and now I'm back home in Dunfermline, Fife, doing what I love.

You'll find me at @HAIR13a on Carnegie Drive, a shared salon space where I work on Mondays and Thursdays, with late night appointments available too. I also take bookings on other days by arrangement.

I welcome everyone – Male, Female, Transgender and Non-binary. However you identify, I can cut and style in a way that suits you. My chair is a relaxed, judgement-free space.

When I'm not behind the chair, I'm usually with my son, eating lasagne, drinking flat whites, or thinking about chocolate. Feel free to get in touch – I'd love to hear from you.
